ISO/IEC 27001:2022 certification

ITONICS considers information security as a fundament of reliability and trust that has been independently audit-proven and certified by the internationally recognized standard ISO/IEC 27001:2022. The certificate is valid for our German locations Nuremberg and Berlin.

Information security management system

Customer-specific data are handled with utmost care within ITONICS. Data from the live systems are fully protected with the highest level of confidentiality. All customer data are stored within ITONICS systems securely during the contract period and is deleted at the end of the contract in accordance with the highest security standards.

Secured platform and content

Our platform and all system contents including information and uploaded images or files are secured through a strong authentication process and cannot be accessed without a login. System contents and modules access rights can also be configured for different roles within the customer’s organization. There will also be an anti-virus scanning while uploading any file to the system.

Confidentiality, integrity, and availability of information

ITONICS systematically manages information security and associated risks to meet the ever-increasing demands for information security and compliance requirements.

Physical access security and clean desk policy

We maintain physical access security and clean desk policy at all of our offices.

Employee training and security awareness

Every ITONICS employee goes through an exclusive data privacy policy and security awareness mandatory training provided by the HR team, IT team and also goes through an online test to ensure proper understanding after the training session.

Data privacy and compliance

The General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) regulates the collection and processing of data - specifically personal data.

Any company processing or retaining personal data of any citizen in the EU must comply with the data privacy mandate and comply with certain needs such as “data minimization”, the proper processing of the data collected, the required transparency for data owners as well as the purpose limitation and proportionality.

GDPR compliance

From 25 May 2018 onward, the ITONICS software fully complies with GDPR policies and regulations. Our software platform helps customers to maintain user information and data privacy and data protection for the controller, processor, and the data subject. This covers all current and future software products and services provided by ITONICS.

External data protection officer

ITONICS is cooperating with an external partner specialized in operational data protection to cope with any and all data protection requirements. In this context, a certified external data protection officer has been appointed.

Ongoing commitment towards data privacy

The ITONICS platform maintains data privacy which includes data retention, processing, deletion of data after off-boarding as per GDPR. Our software logging framework never logs user sensitive data or passwords.
