Your responsibilities

  • Lead the US sales team and provide direction and leadership in the development of sales strategies
  • Lead all internal and external project resources necessary to win the assigned project; act as the focal point leader for customers and their agents/contractors on strategic projects
  • Forge relationships with key defined end users and partners
  • Utilization of the pre-defined project methodology; lead all internal reviews through the pursuit cycle
  • Understand customer business drivers and demonstrate the linkage between recommended products/solutions to the customer’s process needs and business objectives, and be comfortable with presenting and discussing these at the top levels of the contracting organizations
  • Be the liaison for specific account opportunities on global projects
  • Collection of market intelligence – competitive, product, market (fehlt da was am Ende?)

Skills

  • Minimum 8+ years experience in sales of complex software solutions
  • Final degree or respective professional training in the fields information systems, business informatics, major in business administration with minor in computer science, economics with focus on sales and marketing etc.
  • Well experienced with CRM-systems
  • In-depth knowledge of professional selling techniques for large capital projects
  • Strong knowledge of project execution fundamentals as well as knowledge of contracting strategies, execution practices and measurements with global engineering contractors
  • Quality- and customer-oriented, ability to work independently
  • Individual presence and charisma for senior level interactions
  • Very good interpersonal skills with a positive and cooperative attitude
  • Ability to lead and readiness of mind
  • Eloquence and confident behaviour
  • Accurate forecast of business activities
  • Attain established targets and goals in measured categories

  • Fluent business English

  • Sales experience

  • Entrepreneurial thinking, organizational and multitasking skills

  • Basic knowledge in state-of-the-art web technologies
